Photorejuvenation (Skin Rejuvenation)
Photorejuvenation (Skin Rejuvenation)

Photorejuvenation is a crucial tool in the treatment of aging.

The treatment of "superficial" aging issues such as brown spots, redness, and dull complexion often involves the use of medical intense pulsed light (IPL) with sufficient power to address these concerns, as well as chemical peels.
The Frax 1550 laser can slow down and even reverse the visible signs of aging, eliminate age spots, and leave the skin fresher and less wrinkled.
Moderate skin laxity can be improved with radiofrequency, which causes deep tissue heating, leading to tissue contraction and subsequent synthesis of new collagen within weeks or months.

HOW DOES FRAX 1550 LASER TREATMENT WORK ?
Frax 1550 laser treatment works by creating very small, very controlled thermal impacts, leaving healthy, normal skin all around. The body sets to work repairing this controlled damage, and renews collagen throughout the treated area, reducing fine lines and leaving the skin fresher. At the same time, the skin’s surface is renewed, improving the evenness of pigmentation. Research has shown that a combined treatment using IPL Nordlys pulsed light followed by the Frax 1550 laser produces even better results, requiring fewer sessions (Light and Bright Protocol).
Photorejuvenation lasers provide a natural rejuvenating effect, as they only involve stimulating the cells and components of your skin.

HOW LONG DOES A FRAX 1550 TREATMENT LAST ?
As a general rule, the session lasts between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on the size of the area to be treated.

CAN I BE TREATED ?
Let’s be clear: the Frax 1550 laser cannot eliminate deep wrinkles. But it does considerably reduce fine lines, eliminate pigmentation spots and improve pore size. The treatment is not limited to the face, so damage to the neck, chest, hands and arms, for example, can also be treated.
It is sometimes advisable to complement the treatment with injections of hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin, which can have a significant impact on localised imperfections.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL ?
The treatment can be a little uncomfortable, which is why we recommend the use of an anaesthetic cream applied 1 hour and then 15 minutes before the treatment.
After the session, you may feel a sensation similar to a slight sunburn on the skin for a few hours.

WHAT PRECAUTIONS SHOULD I TAKE BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENT ?
It is essential to avoid tanning (sun, solarium or self-tanning products) before and during the treatment period. Otherwise, your tanned skin will absorb more light, making the treatment less effective and less comfortable.
As a general rule, no special care is needed after treatment, but people with sensitive skin may benefit from applying a cold compress to the face immediately after treatment or using a cream prescribed by the doctor.
After treatment, avoid exposure to the sun for 30 days, even if there are no signs of inflammation in the treated area. Use sun protection (minimum SPF 30) if sun exposure cannot be avoided.
