It can absorb up to a thousand times its weight in water. It therefore ensures hydration, firmness and tone of the skin. With age, this active ingredient is resorbed and the skin loses its elasticity and volume. Hyaluronic acid injections are therefore extremely effective in deeply hydrating the skin or reshaping the face by restoring lost volume.

WHY INJECT THE CHEEKBONES?
The cheekbones play an essential role in the harmony of the face. Hyaluronic acid injections in the cheekbones are therefore very effective. They can be performed for two reasons:

Sagging skin : With age, the subcutaneous fat melts away and makes the cheekbones sag. The oval of the face is then less harmonious and the face becomes sad and tired. In this context, hyaluronic acid injections allow the sagging area to be filled in to restore volume. The cheekbones are then reshaped and the face rejuvenated and illuminated.

Naturally flat cheekbones : Some people, however, use hyaluronic acid injections in the cheekbones because this area is naturally flat. The aim is to enhance and contour the cheekbones. The advantage of this procedure is that the face is reshaped naturally and without surgery.

COURSE OF THE CHEEKBONE CONTOURING INJECTIONS WITH DR. THANACODY
First, a complete analysis is performed during an initial consultation with Dr. Thanacody. Your personalised treatment plan is then drawn up based on your needs and the analysis of your face. During the session, the cosmetic doctor will use a micro-cannula or micro-needle to inject hyaluronic acid into your cheekbones. The procedure takes less than 30 minutes and is usually painless. WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT AFTER ACID INJECTIONS TO RESHAPE THE CHEEKBONES?
The results of this non-surgical procedure are visible almost immediately. Your face is more harmonious, your skin is deeply hydrated, firm and toned, and your cheekbones are enhanced. Your complexion will be less tired, less dull and visibly rejuvenated. The results last approximately 6 to 18 months, as hyaluronic acid is a resorbable molecule. WHAT ARE THE CONTRAINDICATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS TO TAKE BEFORE HYALURONIC ACID INJECTIONS TO RESHAPE THE CHEEKBONES?
The contraindications to be taken into account are those of a classic hyaluronic acid injection, notably

Pregnancy or breastfeeding;
Autoimmune diseases;
Hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid;
Skin injections.

WHAT SIDE EFFECTS CAN I EXPECT?
After an injection in your cheekbones, redness or bruising may occur. These side effects are completely normal and disappear after a few days. During the following days, remember to avoid :

Massaging your cheekbones;
Taking alcohol, aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs;
Steam rooms or saunas;
Exposure to the sun.
